This guide loads Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity and Adsterra on your first view. The banner is a notice and a way to withdraw: Reject turns all three off and stores that choice for 180 days. Two local keys are involved, it-consent and it-ad-closed.

Who is responsible
The controller is the editor of incrementaltraffic.org. Email [email protected]. There is no separate postal address on this page; use that mailbox for access, correction, deletion, objection, and restriction requests. You can also complain to your local supervisory authority.
What the pages load, and when
HTML, CSS, and images of the guide are served from this site. Achievement icons on the achievement tables are loaded from Steam's image host (shared.akamai.steamstatic.com) when you open those tables. Steam's own policy covers that image request. I do not add a tracking parameter to it.
Google Analytics 4 runs on every page from the first view. The property is website_342_gameinfo_incrementaltraffic.org, measurement ID G-8THWKYQVTJ, under the game_websites account. The loader contacts www.googletagmanager.com; measurement requests can go to google-analytics.com and analytics.google.com subdomains. It counts page views and basic engagement; the tag is created by a small loader on this site, not written into the served HTML as a blocking script. The three Google advertising consent fields remain denied, including after Accept; analytics storage defaults to granted. Accept keeps the default loading behavior.
Microsoft Clarity records sessions and builds heat maps. The project is Incremental Traffic Guide, project ID z86hgyn7co. It loads from the first view through the same kind of loader; www.clarity.ms, scripts.clarity.ms and collection subdomains of clarity.ms receive the page URL, a generated session identifier, clicks, scrolls and pointer movement. Clarity masks text in form fields by default. Advertising storage for Clarity starts denied.
Adsterra supplies two placements on this site: a Native Banner (ad unit 32083945, NativeBanner_1) inside the page and a Social Bar (ad unit 32083946, SocialBar_1) as a fixed strip. They are requested from bicea.org on the first view by the site's own loader. Creative delivery can additionally use cdn.show-creative1.com, cdn.show-sb.com, cdn.cloudpiko.com, static.nresystems.com, storageimagedisplay.com subdomains and the adsterra.com, highperformanceformat.com and profitableratecpm.com host families; the exact creative hosts vary per request. The Adsterra publisher account is 3403020 and the website record is 6173938; adult ads are switched off in the dashboard. Adsterra and its creative hosts may set their own cookies and read the page URL and referrer to choose and measure a creative; their names and lifetimes are controlled by Adsterra and listed in its privacy policy.
A video block shows a picture from this site until you press Play. The press creates a YouTube embed (www.youtube.com) for the Tchelow first look. Before that press, the page does not request YouTube; after it, YouTube receives the embed request under Google's policy. The YouTube embed may in turn contact Google media hosts such as googlevideo.com, ytimg.com and gstatic.com after Play. No video frame exists before Play.
Cookies and local storage keys
This site writes two keys in your browser's local storage, not in a cookie jar:
- it-consent — one JSON record with choice granted or denied and an expiry. It is written on your first view (granted), replaced when you press Accept or Reject, and expires after 180 days.
- it-ad-closed — the value 1, written only when you close the Adsterra Social Bar with its × button. It has no expiry and stays until you clear this site's storage or press Accept again; while it is set the Social Bar is not requested.
Third-party cookies you may receive
Google Analytics can create _ga and _ga_<measurement-id> first-party cookies. Clarity can create _clck and _clsk first-party cookies on this site and use identifiers such as MUID on Microsoft domains. Availability and lifetimes depend on the provider and browser settings; the provider documentation is linked below. Adsterra and its creative partners can use cookies on their own domains. No exhaustive list of ad-cookie names or a fixed ad-cookie lifetime has been established for these placements.
If you press Reject, none of the Google Analytics, Clarity or Adsterra scripts are created on the next page view, so those cookies are not refreshed by this site; cookies already present can be removed in your browser's site-data settings. No Google tag request is made after Reject, because this site creates the tag with page script rather than shipping it in the HTML.
Legal basis and retention
The optional integrations are loaded by default as described above. Accept maintains that setting; Reject records an opt-out. The banner choice is not treated as permission to enable Google advertising storage. Privacy rights and applicable requirements depend on the visitor’s location; contact the site editor for access, correction, deletion or an objection.
The site-controlled it-consent record expires after 180 days. The Social Bar dismissal stays until you clear it or press Accept. Provider retention is governed by the Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity and Adsterra policies linked below. A property-specific analytics retention setting or hosting log retention period has not been independently established, so no fixed period is claimed here.

Your choices, including personalised advertising
The banner appears on your first view and is a notice plus a withdrawal control, not a gate. Accept keeps the default-on load and clears a previous Social Bar dismissal. Reject stores denied for 180 days, disables the Google tag, and reloads the page without the Google Analytics, Clarity or Adsterra scripts. Cookie settings in the footer opens the banner again at any time. Global Privacy Control true is treated as Reject and stored as denied; Do Not Track is not read separately.
To opt out of personalised advertising across sites, use Google Ads Settings (https://adssettings.google.com), the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out (https://optout.aboutads.info), or the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out (https://optout.networkadvertising.org). Adsterra's own privacy policy (https://adsterra.com/privacy-policy/) explains its ad cookies and how to contact it. Microsoft's privacy statement (https://privacy.microsoft.com) covers Clarity. Google advertising consent remains denied on this site, including after Accept.

Questions
Do you load advertising and analytics by default?
Yes. Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity and Adsterra load on your first view. The banner tells you so and lets you withdraw; Reject turns all three off for 180 days.
How do I withdraw?
Press Reject on the banner, or open Cookie settings in the footer and press Reject. That stores it-consent = denied for 180 days and reloads the page without those scripts.
Which cookies does this site set itself?
None. The site writes two local-storage keys, it-consent (180 days) and it-ad-closed (until cleared). The cookies come from Google Analytics, Clarity and Adsterra when their scripts run.
Who receives a YouTube click?
YouTube, and only after you press Play on a video block.
